Many Crunch Fitness clubs have a sauna, but not all of them. Where a club has one, it's usually in the locker rooms, and Crunch's own club pages say sauna access is included with all memberships, even the cheapest Base plan. Steam rooms are much rarer, and the infrared sauna some clubs have is a Peak Results extra.
No. The AllSaunas directory lists 54 Crunch clubs as of October 2026: 37 in Florida, 8 in Texas, 6 in Georgia and 3 in North Carolina. That's a slice of the chain. Crunch has more than 600 US locations (ScrapeHero, October 2026), and our directory only lists places where we've found a sauna or steam room, so it isn't a random sample.
To see what Crunch itself says, we read the crunch.com page for each of those 54 clubs in October 2026. Fifty-two of them list a sauna among the club's amenities, and 45 carry the same line: "Sauna access is included with all memberships." The pages for Crunch Charlotte University (NC) and Crunch North Richland Hills (TX) don't list a sauna among the club's own amenities, only in Crunch's chain-wide plan text, so call those clubs before you count on it.
Other regions look patchier. When we checked 39 other US Crunch club pages picked at random, 19 flagged a sauna. Many of those pages list very few amenities, so that's a floor, but it's a good reason to look up your own club.
Among the 54 clubs we list, most saunas are the traditional dry kind. Our listings show a dry sauna at 52 of them, usually one in the men's locker room and one in the women's.
Crunch has three main plans. At Crunch Brandon in Florida, for example, Base is $9.99 a month with an annual commitment ($15.99 without), Peak is $24.99 and Peak Results is $29.99. Prices vary by club.
The locker room sauna comes with all three. What changes with the plan is the Relax & Recover area, which Crunch's club pages say "is included with Peak Results membership." Depending on the club, that area has HydroMassage beds, tanning, cryobeds and, at some clubs, an infrared sauna. If you're on Base or Peak, the front desk can explain the upgrade.
So if a regular dry sauna after your workout is all you want, Base covers it. Pay for Peak Results only if you'd use the extras.
Steam rooms are the part people get wrong. Every Crunch club page carries a general blurb about Relax & Recover with "HydroMassage, tanning, saunas, steam rooms, and more." That line appears even at clubs that don't have a steam room. When you look at each club's own list of amenities, only 5 of the 54 clubs we list name a steam room: Doral (Miami), Kirkman and Orlando Park (Orlando), Plantation and Winter Park, all in Florida. All five also list a Jacuzzi, and most have a pool, so they're the bigger clubs. Tamarac's plan details also list a steam room with Peak Results, though its amenity list doesn't, so ask that club.
Infrared saunas are more common than steam. Crunch's pages flag an infrared sauna at 16 of the 54 clubs. Where the page explains it, the infrared sauna sits in the Relax & Recover area, so it needs Peak Results. If you're not sure how infrared differs from the dry sauna in the locker room, or from steam, our sauna vs steam room guide explains how each one feels.
None of the 54 club pages lists a cold plunge.
Here's what the crunch.com club pages showed for the clubs in our directory, as of October 2026.
| State | Crunch clubs we list | Club amenities include a sauna | Page lists a steam room | Page flags an infrared sauna |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Florida | 37 | 37 | 5 | 11 |
| Texas | 8 | 7 | 0 | 4 |
| Georgia | 6 | 6 | 0 | 1 |
| North Carolina | 3 | 2 | 0 | 0 |
Florida has the most because that's where our Crunch coverage is deepest, not because other states lack saunas. You can search Crunch in our directory to see each club, or browse every sauna in Florida if you're comparing Crunch with other gyms nearby.
Crunch doesn't publish chain-wide sauna rules, so check the sign by your club's sauna door. The usual gym sauna courtesy applies. Shower first, sit on a towel, and keep sessions to about 10 to 15 minutes when the room is busy. Leave your phone and gym shoes in the locker.
Because the dry sauna is inside the single-sex locker room, most people wear a towel, and swim trunks or a swimsuit are fine at most clubs. In a co-ed area, wear workout clothes or a swimsuit.
If you're choosing between budget gyms, the sauna is one of the clearest differences. Planet Fitness doesn't have saunas at all, as we explain in our Planet Fitness article. LA Fitness is close to Crunch: a dry sauna in most locker rooms, included with a regular membership, and steam rooms at only a small share of clubs.
Crunch's edge is price. Its Base plan includes the sauna, and Peak Results adds infrared and recovery extras at the clubs that have them. Either way, look up your specific club page on crunch.com and read the amenities list, not the general blurb.
All of them. Crunch's club pages say locker room sauna access is included with all memberships, including Base. The infrared sauna, where a club has one, is part of Relax & Recover, which comes with Peak Results.
Only some clubs do. Of the 54 Crunch clubs in our directory, 5 list a steam room on their crunch.com page as of October 2026, all of them larger Florida clubs with a Jacuzzi.
Crunch doesn't publish a chain-wide limit. Check the rules posted at your club, and keep to 10 to 15 minutes when others are waiting.
Crunch club pages offer "Bring a Friend Every Time" at your club of enrollment, and guests must be at least 14 with ID. Ask the front desk which plans include guest visits. A non-member can also buy a day pass ($15 at Crunch Brandon, or free on a first visit for locals with a valid local ID), which includes Base-level access, and Base includes the sauna.
